Electric Servo-guns for the RSW of Complex Stack-ups

February 22, 2013

Three EWI associates were recently published in Welding in the World.  Their article, “An examination of electric servo-guns for the resistance spot welding of complex stack-ups,” is found in the March 2013 issue.

Jerry Gould, Warren Peterson, and James Cruz focused on the capabilities of medium-frequency direct current (MFDC) electric servo resistance welding guns in areas such as the ability to apply forge forces and currents, as well as the ability to sequence the current and forging profiles.

EWI members can request the article from the EWI Library on the Member Central website.  If you’re not a member, consider joining.  EWI librarians offer members literature search and article retrieval services, paying all copyright fees and document delivery fees for members.  Find out about all the benefits of EWI membership.
