Advanced energy companies, including battery, fuel cell and energy storage manufacturers, energy product innovators, and venture capitalists, come to EWI for help designing for manufacturability, prototyping, testing, transitioning to high-volume manufacturing, and getting their energy products to market. Our large manufacturing customers from a variety of industry sectors (i.e. automotive, aerospace, defense, consumer products and light industrial, heavy manufacturing, etc.) come to us for help meeting new energy regulations. We assist them all with our understanding of manufacturing processes and application of advanced technologies.
The EWI Energy Center was formed in 2009 to provide a connection point for all stakeholders in the advanced energy industry, including government agencies, inventors, investors, and large consumers of energy. Its primary objective is to facilitate advances in the U.S. advanced energy industry to reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil.
For more information about the Center or about EWI’s advanced energy capabilities, contact Kimberly Gibson, Director of the EWI Energy Center, at kgibson@ewi.org or 614.688.5180.
