Sixth International TWI / EWI Seminar on Joining of Aerospace Materials

Each year, EWI (in the U.S.) and TWI (in the UK) come together to co-host a technical seminar on the latest in materials joining for the aerospace industry.

This year’s seminar on Sept. 13-14, 2012 in Munich follows previous successful events at Rolls-Royce (Derby, UK), Lockheed Martin (Denver, USA), Volvo Aero (Bokenas, Sweden), Airbus (Toulouse, France) and GE Aviation, (Cincinnati, USA) in previous years. It will concentrate on joining requirements and technologies for the aerospace industry, and feature presentations in the field of Welding & Joining Developments for fuselage materials (metallic and non-metallic), Welding Developments for engine materials, Coatings developments, Developments in Non-Destructive Inspection and Innovative technologies for future aircraft.
