The EWI Forming Center is pleased to host two special learning opportunities this fall in advanced sheet metal forming. The programs are open to the public and will both take place in Columbus, Ohio.
- Fundamentals & Applications of Sheet Metal Forming Class
October 18-19, 2022 at EWI Headquarters
Get a comprehensive overview of sheet metal forming practices, material formability, lubrication, equipment, tooling and various applications of sheet metal forming. After completing this day-and-a-half course, participants will earn 12 Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits. Class size is limited to ensure that all attendees have access to the instructor. - Workshop on Advanced Sheet Metal Forming Technology
October 19-20, 2022 at EWI Headquarters and The Ohio State University Fawcett Center
This workshop brings together OEMs, stampers, material producers, forming equipment builders, simulation software developers, lubricant suppliers, and academic researchers to present current investigations and discuss important issues related to current practices and the advancement of sheet metal forming technology. The event kicks off at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, October 19th, with a facility tour and reception at EWI Headquarters. The technical program will take place at the OSU Fawcett Center starting 8:00 am Thursday morning.
