Prior to DMC, EWI had shared information with the defense community on advanced manufacturing technologies, targeting four needs in the government space: service life extension, technology rapid insertion, increased margins, and reducing maintenance and repair costs. These topics prompted extensive conversation with booth visitors about options for addressing these challenges.
In addition, EWI engineers Nancy Porter, Shawn Kelly, and Miranda Marcus gave three presentations at technical sessions. Jesse Bonfeld participated in a panel discussion related to the DMDII institute.
The Defense Manufacturing Conference is the top forum for engaging with our government and defense clients to determine the manufacturing innovation needs of the US Department of Defense. We look forward to attending in 2016.
