- Metal Welding Overview for Battery Packs — Tuesday 10/25, 9:00am-12:00 noon
A comprehensive examination of ultrasonic, resistance, laser, wire bonding, and pulsed-arc welding as applied to battery packs. Taught by Olga Eliseeva, Project Engineer, Materials. - Fundamentals of Plastics Welding — Tuesday 10/25, 1:00-4:00 pm
Learn about plastic welding processes including ultrasonic, vibration, laser, and hot plate, as well as how to choose the right one for your application. Taught by Miranda Marcus, Senior Engineer, Polymer Joining. - Electric & Autonomous Vehicles: The Future is Now — Tuesday 10/25, 1:00-4:00pm
Senior Technology Leader for Polymers Jeff Ellis will present as part of panel during this workshop on electric mobility and autonomous transportation. - Introduction to Automation Implementation — Thursday 10/27, 10:00-11:30 am
An overview of the various automation components you’ll need to consider, recommendations on moving your project forward, and help with understanding your return on investment. Taught by Matt Malloy, Engineering Group Leader.
