Michael Ulbrich, President of EWI NY, will be joined by Ben Rand from Insyte Consulting to present Overcoming the Challenges of Manufacturing Technology Innovation and Adoption with Local Small and Medium-sized Manufacturers at the MEP National Network™ Summit on September 17th in Atlanta. The meeting will bring together more than 500 representatives of the MEP network to share knowledge while advancing and integrating Network capabilities

The session will focus on best practices that help small and medium-sized manufacturers (SMMs) identify and prepare for the innovative technology and processes necessary to stay competitive in the global market. The presentation will lay out a system that has been specifically developed to meet individual SMMs where they are today and help them progress toward greater competitiveness in an orderly, risk-managed, and achievable manner. A holistic and integrated model – complete with unique assessments, hands-on workshops, and on-the-shop-floor manufacturing technology planning and adoption projects – will be introduced in detail.

Following the presentation, EWI associates Liz Callahan, Mike Garman, and Dominic Myers, will join Ulbrich and Rand for a panel discussion with attendees about adopting and implementing the model to leverage manufacturing technology, spark innovation and drive growth.
