Rapid Feasibility Service

Having the ability to rapidly assess alternative processes or materials combinations to meet current and future manufacturing challenges can create a competitive advantage. However, many companies do not have the equipment, manpower, or time to investigate the multiple options that exist in industry today.

In response, EWI has created the Rapid Feasibility Service to help manufacturers fast-track screening of new joining processes before making large investments in new equipment.

EWI has offered in-depth feasibility evaluations on customer-supplied parts since our inception more than 30 years ago. Our new Rapid Feasibility Service enables customers to expedite testing process screening trials through a single-rate day service. With dedicated access to equipment used for a variety of joining technologies (Resistance Welding, Arc Welding, Laser Processing, Ultrasonic Welding, Friction Welding, to name a few) EWI will quickly help you determine the feasibility of using these technologies in your application.

In addition, EWI’s Rapid Feasibility Service connects you directly to qualified engineers and technicians experienced in multiple technologies. With high-level expertise in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, materials joining, physics, and robotics, our team can help you quickly evaluate and accelerate the development of new solutions to your manufacturing challenges. In addition, because we are vendor-independent and work with a wide variety of equipment manufacturers, you are guaranteed to receive unbiased expert advice and technical solutions.
