EWI Technology Leader Jerry Gould was published in the March 2015 issue of Welding Journal. 
In his article (with co-author Doug Cox), “Brazing Process Promises Rapid Processing of Laminated Thin-Metal Panels,” the authors detail a prototype manufacturing technology that may become an important addition to the automotive and other high-volume industries. CellTech Metals with EWI is developing a new generation of sandwiched metal sheets and panel structures for high-volume applications that maintain the stiffness of solid steel sheet at roughly one-half the weight.
