Due to popular demand, EWI Technical Webinars are back!
We are pleased to once again present virtual seminars in November and December to introduce our latest technology R&D. You are invited to join us online — at no charge — for the following two webinars:
- New and Improved High-speed Camera for Welding Process Analysis and Diagnostics — Project Engineer Jim Hansen will introduce EWI’s new high-speed camera and data acquisition system (HSC-DAQ) which uses commercially off-the-shelf components and software. This streamlined system enables in-depth analysis of both ARC and laser-welded processes and can be used to fine tune wave development and diagnose process stability issue.
Wednesday, November 15th, 1:00-1:45 pm EST
- New Elliptical Wire Technology — Precise control of the wire electrode or “tool-point” position is critical in gas metal arc welding and arc directed energy deposition. Newly developed elliptical wire technology (EWT) offers improvements in tool-point control. EWI recently studied many features of elliptical wire feedstock in comparison to round wire feedstock. Applications Engineer Jason Rausch will discuss the findings of the study.
Tuesday, December 5th, 1:00-1:45 pm EST
