EWI salutes Automation Team Leader Dan Vrana and Applications Engineer Dillan Sayers who both received nominations for Innovative Educator of the Year from InfoTech WNY, an organization that supports technology professionals and students in Western New York State.
Dan was recognized for his work in running the 2024 Automation Camp for teenagers who participated in the Mayor of Buffalo’s Summer Youth Internship & Employment Program. Dillan’s commendation came as a result of his founding and directing Rust Belt Robotics, Buffalo’s first competitive, community robotics team for students. Both Dan and Dillan were honored at the Buffalo Emerging Technology Award (BETA) Showcase on October 2, 2024.
