Current Automation Training Classes
Robotic Basics: A Hands-On Workshop
This one-day course gives participants first-hand experience as they learn about static industrial robot and collaborative robot (“cobot”) platforms. Safety considerations for implementing robots into their workplace are covered, as well as fundamental applications for robot types. During the in-lab portion of the class, students learn how to program basic moves for both robot platforms. Different types of end-of-arm tooling and their industrial applications are also introduced. Attendees can earn six professional development hours (PDH) upon completion of the course. This workshop can also be customized for employees in your organization to meet your specific requirements.

**NEW** Robotic Vision Systems & End-of-arm Tooling
This two-day class offers an essential introduction to some of the more common end-of-arm tooling options/applications and robotic vision systems. The course covers basic principles and provides hands-on experience centered around collaborative platforms. Robotic Vision Systems and End-of-arm Tooling offers 15 professional development hours (PDH) upon completion.
Robotic Integration
This week-long class offers an introduction to common applications for standard industrial and collaborative robots. The course covers robotic selection, operation, and setup; safety considerations; electrical and pneumatic interfacing; basic and intermediate programming; and applications-based programming including pick-and-place, machine tending, palletizing, and continuous path operation. Over the course of five days, participants will wire and assemble a fully functioning robotics cell. The combination of classroom and hands-on instruction promotes the learning of robotic concepts that can be applied in a variety of production settings rather than specific product knowledge. Robotic Integration offers 35 professional development hours (PDH) upon completion of the course.
