Today EWI held the fourth Member Update & Orientation session for new members. The response to this event was overwhelming, and we were pleased that many members participated. Some of our guests included Parker Hannifin, Tower Automotive, Worthington Industries, Lincoln Electric, as well as Eaton & General Motors.
Our visitors toured EWI and saw various demonstrations on Arc Welding on Tandem GMAW, UAM and Laser Welding. Additionally they were given a brief tour of our labs, with stops in the Microjoining Lab, Adhesives Lab and NDE Lab.
Our members also had the opportunity to talk to our engineers in an “Ask an Engineer” session, which allowed them time to discuss a particular technology issue with various engineers.
