The NFC is working ATI to organize a nuclear corrosion and material symposium in conjunction with their Corrosion Solutions Conference (CSC). Historically, the CSC has been focused on the materials and corrosion topics specific to the Chemical Process Industry (CPI). As the world and industry becomes flatter, if increasing obvious that high temperature materials and corrosion span multiple industries. Additionally, the nuclear industry has a direct connection to CPI via the Next Generation Nuclear Plant program. NGNP aims to leverage the downstream heat from a High Temperature Gas Cooled reactor to industries that need heat to produce their products.
