More details about the new EWI-run advanced manufacturing institute in Western New York emerged at a conference held at the University at Buffalo on February 27. The event featured leaders from EWI, UB, and the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council elaborated on the institute’s technology focus, the public-private partnership, and the economic benefits to the region.

Speakers included EWI President and CEO Henry Cialone, EWI Chief Technology Officer Chris Conrardy, UB Vice President of Research Alex Cartwright, Co-Chair of the WNY REDC Howard Zemsky, and UB President and Co-Chair of the WNY REDC Satish Tripathi.
