Fundamentals of Welding – Fall 2019

This five-day course provides engineers and technicians with an overview of welding technology. The course is organized into modules discussing welding processes, welding metallurgy and weldability, welding design and testing (including mechanical testing and NDT), and qualifications and procedure review.
The class schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday with an hour break for lunch daily. On Friday, the class runs 8:00 am to noon, with a pizza and salad lunch provided. For safety reasons in the EWI labs, long pants and closed-toe shoes must be worn daily throughout the course.
