EWI is pleased to partner with Turbine Forum to present Turbine Forum 2022, three days of technical talks, information sharing, and networking with the goal of improving turbine quality, decreasing repair costs, and utilizing new techniques to meet green energy requirements. The conference, which will bring together stakeholders in the aerospace, space, oil and gas, power generation, and industrial gas turbine engine industries, will take place at the Blackwell Inn on The Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio, October 4-6, 2022.
The event will open with an evening Open House reception at Quintus Technologies on Monday, October 3rd. On Tuesday morning, the technical program will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a keynote presentation from EWI Senior Technology Leader Jerry Gould on Materials for Turbines in the Green Energy World. The program will continue with research presentations on the following technologies as they relate to turbine engine manufacture and repair:
- additive manufacturing
- advanced welding
- brazing
- thermal spray
- advanced coatings
- industrial processes
- single-crystal repair
- advanced repair
