Back by popular demand — Technical webinars return this month to EWI’s presentation roster!
The renewed series of online seminars will start on Wednesday, April 26th, with Integrated Computational Materials Engineering Tools taught by EWI Senior Technology Leader Jerry Gould. The session, which will run from 2:00-2:45 EDT, will provide a baseline understanding of ICME tools and how they can be leveraged to help manufacturers optimize their own operations.
On Wednesday, May 3rd, from 1:00-2:00 EDT, forming engineers Amir Asgharzadeh and Laura Zoller will share Updated Formability Test Methods. Attendees will learn about learn about the latest material formability tests and why comprehensive testing is is crucial to fully understanding new and/or challenging materials for use in forming.
The final webinar of the Spring 2023 series, Effects of Hydrogen Exposure of X70 and X80 Pipeline Steel Charpy Properties, will take place on Wednesday, June 7th, from 1:00-2:00 EDT. The session will cover the initial results of work in EWI’s brand new hydrogen testing lab, where work is quickly scaling up.
