Last week I had the pleasure of visiting with EWI Member Company Devasco International in Tomball, TX. Devasco is a welding consumable manufacturer that produces cored wires and covered electrodes. I was particularly impressed with Devasco’s capability of formulating cored wire consumables tailored to specific applications. By carefully mixing the metal powders that are added to their cored wires, Devasco is able to produce cored consumables with specific compositions and/or mechanical properties, according to their customers needs!
