Today marks the last day of Movember and our EWI Mo Bros gathered one last time for a group photo.
During the month of November, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US, around the world and of course, at EWI. With their Mo’s, our engineers help to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. Our EWI Mo Bros effectively became walking, talking billboards for 30 days in November. Through their actions and words they committed to help raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.
Thank you to all of our Mo Bros, and especially Steve Massey, Applications Engineer, in Arc Welding; he did a great job organizing this event at EWI. He played a vital role in helping to raise a total of $3000 for this cause. Mark Matson, VP of Human Resources single handedly raised $1000.
