For the second year in a row, EWI has been named to the Top 10 Best Employers in Ohio by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) – Ohio State Council.
The manufacturing technologies company was among hundreds of publicly and privately held organizations and nonprofits from across Ohio that competed in a two-part process to determine the state’s best employers for 2012. EWI’s benefits, policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics were first evaluated via an Employer Benefits and Policies Questionnaire. Then an Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey was distributed and 89% of EWI employees participated; a figure described as “remarkable” by the survey company. In the end, EWI’s high overall score placed it in the Top 10 employers in the state in the Medium-sized Companies category (25-249 employees).
