EWI’s affiliate Fabrisonic LLC has been working with NASA JPL and EWI to develop and qualify ultrasonic additive manufacturing (UAM) heat exchanger devices for improved performance. The paper discusses how structures created using UAM can increase functionality, robustness, and efficiency.
