Earlier today, I attended a launch ceremony where Ohio Governor Ted Strickland announced an award — the Ohio Hub of Innovation — to a team comprised of EWI, OSU, Battelle, The Columbus Partnership, TechColumbus, and the City of Columbus. It’s a new concept to stimulate economic development through technological innovations. What does this mean? As an example, the group is pursuing a research and demonstration project for PEV technology that would provide over 850 PEV charging stations in Ohio.
