EWI is pleased to salute Mark Matson, EWI Vice President of HR and Chief Ethics Officer, for his selection as a Columbus Business First 2016 C-Suite Awards honoree. Mark will receive his award at a ceremony on September 8 in Columbus.
The C-Suite Awards recognize company executives for their business and civic leadership, both within their organizations and the greater Central Ohio community. In his nomination, EWI CFO Jim Tighe wrote that Mark is “more than a great problem solver. He is an opportunity finder and an incredible leader.”
Since joining the organization in 2006, Mark’s leadership has had a great impact on the work environment and culture of EWI. His efforts have resulted in our winning the Ohio Best Employers award from the Society for Human Resource Management five times since 2011. Outside of work, Mark holds leadership positions in professional organizations, mentors and educates students in the profession of human resources, and serves on numerous community boards. He presented his groundbreaking “Business Bootcamp” program, which teaches the various functions of a consulting business, at the Society for Human Resource Management National Conference in 2011.
