EWI is pleased to announce the addition of Marcie Erion as Business Development Specialist. A 25-year economic development and business professional, Erion will plan and execute regional sales efforts, develop relationships with partners and stakeholders, and manage member relations functions at EWI Colorado in Loveland.
“Marcie has proven economic development expertise and strong ties throughout the Rocky Mountain manufacturing region,” said EWI Vice President of Marketing & Sales Chris Kiminas. “She will be an integral part of our team and will serve as the main point of contact for our clients, partners and stakeholders.
Prior to joining EWI Colorado, Erion served as the Business Development Specialist for the City of Loveland, CO. “We wish Marcie well as she steps into her new role with EWI,” said Loveland Mayor Cecil Gutierrez. “While we’ll miss her talents in our office, Marcie’s work will be beneficial to the city and to the economy of the entire region. We look forward to working with her as EWI grows its center for advanced process monitoring and quality assessment technologies here in Northern Colorado.”
EWI Colorado is the third location in EWI’s network of technology innovation centers which also includes EWI in Columbus, OH, and Buffalo Manufacturing Works in Western New York. Located at the Rocky Mountain Center for Innovation & Technology in Loveland, the new facility will focus on technologies to improve first-time quality and help manufacturers gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. EWI Colorado is expected to open in late summer.
